Miroslav Raičević

Coach

Miroslav Raičević (born July 13, 1981) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He played as both a power forward and center.

Listed height: 6 ft 10 in (2.08 m)

Listed weight: 250 lb (113 kg)

Career highlights:

  • Early career — Developed in the youth system of Budućnost Peć before moving to Aris Thessaloniki in 1998 and turning pro in 2000.

  • FIBA Europe Cup heroics — Won the 2003 title with Aris, hitting the decisive last‑second shot in the final.

  • Greek Cup champion — Added the 2004 Greek Cup with Aris.

  • Red Star success — Played the 2005–06 season with Red Star Belgrade, winning the Serbian Cup.

  • European journeyman — Competed for Dynamo Moscow, Eldo Napoli, Panionios, and Enisey Krasnoyarsk between 2006–2011.

  • Player‑coach comeback — Returned after a 5‑year break to join Iraklis as a player‑coach, making his debut in a win over Doukas.

  • National team — Represented Serbia and Montenegro at the 2006 FIBA World Championship.

  • Coaching career — Became assistant coach for Iraklis under Vangelis Alexandris in 2015.
